Project Overview
This project was a brand film for ITO EN, Japan’s largest green tea distributor, created for international customers. Rather than relying on picturesque tea fields or traditional imagery, the concept focused on a studio-based, cinematic approach, allowing the essence of Japanese green tea to be expressed through light, texture, sound, and performance.
Creative Concept
The film explores green tea not as a product, but as a quiet ritual—a moment of balance, clarity, and presence. By stripping away excess visuals, the camera lingers on subtle gestures: steam rising, liquid movement, breathing, and silence. This approach reframed Japanese green tea as something timeless and global, while remaining deeply rooted in Japanese sensibility.
