A graduate of the USC School of Cinematic Arts, one of the world's leading film schools whose alumni include George Lucas and Ryan Coogler, with a bachelor's degree in film production.※1

Story, performance, and visual craft, refined through hands-on work in Hollywood, form the foundation of our filmmaking.

Drawing on our networks in Los Angeles and San Francisco, we make films across countries and cultures.

DOCUMENTARY

Part of an Oscar-nominated
documentary.

Yuta Okamura served as co-producer and cinematographer on Black Box Diaries, which was nominated for Documentary Feature Film at the 97th Academy Awards.

We listen to people's voices and look closely at the societies they live in. Documentary work has taught us to stay attentive to both people and their wider world.

YUTA OKAMURA

Yuta Okamura

Founder. Head of Production, Tokyo Office

Yuta Okamura is an internationally recognized filmmaker and director known for blending cinematic storytelling with cultural depth and visual precision. Born in Japan and trained at the USC School of Cinematic Arts, Yuta brings a unique eye shaped by both documentary realism and narrative filmmaking. His work spans award‑winning narrative films and commercial projects, and he is a producer and cinematographer for Black Box Diaries, the Oscar‑nominated Best Documentary Feature. Yuta leads our creative vision from Tokyo, guiding projects that bridge cultures, harness emotional impact, and push the boundaries of visual storytelling.

MATTHIEU BRAJOT

Matt Brajot

Head of Production, San Francisco Office

Matt Brajot is a creative and art director with a lifelong passion for film and storytelling. His imaginative approach to advertising and content comes from a deep curiosity about the world and a belief that smart, unexpected ideas, whether it’s cooking a chicken in the stratosphere or exposing the plight of migrating snowmen, open doors to connect with audiences. Over the years, Matt has created work for top global brands including eBay, Clorox, and Intel, earning recognition at Cannes Lions, Communication Arts, and The Webbys. He leads our San Francisco team with a mix of strategic vision, cinematic sensibility, and a healthy sense of humor that keeps work fresh, relevant, and memorable.

APO W. BAZIDI

Apo W. Bazidi

Producer

Apo W. Bazidi is an award-winning filmmaker and the founder of Burn A Light Studios, a social impact production company based in San Francisco. Apo was born in Eastern Turkey to Kurdish parents. He grew up amid the social injustices and inequality that beset his community. These experiences drove his desire to become a storyteller. After high school, he immigrated to the United States and went on to graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Film & Television Production from the University of Southern California in 2011.

Apo's films are primarily concerned with social issues and the importance of global cultural interactions. His first feature film, Resistance is Life, won eight international awards including six for Best Documentary Feature. Apo believes in making a positive change through visual storytelling. His lifelong motto is to "be creative and inspire".
