Project Overview

This opening film was created for the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters’ 2025 season. The production gained rare access to training camps normally closed to cameras.

Concept & Direction
Instead of focusing on highlights or victories, the film captures the moments before competition—players’ honest words, tension, and determination leading up to the season.

By filming in close proximity, the project reveals a raw, human side of professional baseball rarely seen by fans.

Result

The film introduced a new approach to sports storytelling in Japan, drawing strong attention from fans and professionals alike, and gaining interest beyond Japan within the global baseball community.
