Project Overview
Tsuyoshi Shinjo is a cinematic entrance film directed by Yuta Okamura for the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters’ manager. Created for 35,000 live spectators, the film was designed to turn Shinjo’s entrance onto the field into a dramatic stadium moment.
Production Approach
To create a large-scale LED lighting concept rarely seen in Japanese baseball, the production brought together local teams from Tokyo and Hokkaido. The same LED lights used in the film were installed inside the stadium, allowing the cinematic visuals and live performance to connect seamlessly. By combining practical special effects with cinematic filmmaking, the project drew attention within the sports entertainment industry.
Result
A bold and memorable entrance movie that celebrates Shinjo’s star power and transforms his arrival into a shared emotional experience for the entire stadium audience.
